In July, the representatives of Pick and Taste went on facultative journeys, one to Scotland and the other to Austria and Italy. We managed to visit green Highlands and Islay island, known for very aromatic, strong and peaty whisky. In Italy we visited as picturesque appellations DOC as Prosecco, Bardolino, Chianti Classico and the whole region of Alto Adige. We visited, among others, such wine celebrities as Foss Marai, Ca’ Salina, Zeni, Lenotti, ST. Michele Appiano or Josef Mayr.
Thanks to those journeys we not only broadened our knowledge, but also prepared materials which will diversify our tastings. Picturesque photographs of whisky distilleries and typically Scottish views will make the meetings with „the water of life” even more attractive, while the views of bathed in the sun ”vitis vinifery” bushes and beautiful regions of Southern Europe will enrich ”exclusive meetings” with the wine theme. The pictures prepared by us will allow to ”move” the participants to origin countries of these liquors.
